Jessica Sias Wilson
Jessica has over 20 years experience as a movement and wellness practioner. She was introduced to the work of Embodiment & Somatics while studying Choreography at Trinity Laban in London. She has a deep & practical knowledge of biomechanics & energetic work and acts as guide to help you return to the body and its wisdom.
She coaches on posture, alignment and ease of movement as the foundation to everything else you do in your life, guiding you to find the ground, create & hold space within the body and discover there is a calm, centered, empowered place within you. She teaches with patience and compassion, giving you the tools to show up fully embodied to any situation and bring forth all that you have to offer.
Jessica has taught Pilates & Gyrotonic in busy studios in Atlanta and London since 2002. She created her own space and practice, Nova Tide Studio, when she moved to York in 2014. She has worked as a professional dance artist in the US & UK and as an actor in theatre and television from a young age. Jessica also works as a facilitator delivering workshops on embodiment and communication in various professional fields. She is comfortable delivering potent concepts in an accessible and friendly way.
